UMAIN Days of Tech & Exploration (DETH) is a internal UMAIN tech conference/hackathon where we as developers play and explore parts of the digital tech-world we usually never have had time or possibility to explore. It is all about learning new tech and understanding the boundaries of it.

Steam Hotel & basic info
We will be situated in the fabulous facilities of STEAM HOTEL. We will have our own conference hall that we will see as our HQ. It is here we can sit and work, and where the teams will give their presentations. We will be serving coffee, snacks and some very helpful music to keep us focused from DJ Wayne himself throughout the days.
We will also have free access to the bar with our wrist band (which we will get when we arrive), so it’s highly recommended to stay fresh and hydrated during the hackathon!
We arrive to the hotel at 13:00 on Thursday, and the check-in to the hotel will be at 15:00, so make sure to leave you bags in the HQ (conference hall) in the meanwhile.
Don’t forget your swimsuits!
On Friday after the dinner we have the opportunity to use their spa & pool facilities. And yes, there is a bar there!
It’s not primarily about the end-result of the project - but all about the learning
Umain DETH gives us an opportunity to try new technology that we might not have worked with before which hopefully will enhance the team skill set in general.
The Umain tech team will gain a broader understanding of possibilities and challenges with new technologies.
We will learn from each other, and also gain new skills in collaboration, mentoring and communication.
